Frequently Asked Questions on Wills and Inheritance
How you can use your inheritance to help shape the future of culture
Through your will, you can make a difference long after you are gone. By leaving a legacy to the Kulturpalast Hamburg Foundation, you will be supporting projects for children, young people and families – in the fields of music, dance, education and integration. Your support helps to shape the future, foster culture and build a sense of community.
Your donation helps to:
- enable early musical education for nursery children with the Klangstrolchen
- to offer young people opportunities and support for their talents through the HipHop Academy
- to foster cultural participation regardless of background
- to create a home for people with a background of migration or as refugees
- Bequest: The Kulturpalast Hamburg Foundation will (either alone or jointly with others) become the legal successor and assume all rights and obligations.
- Bequest: You can stipulate that we receive, for example, a specific sum of money, a property or a memento – without being named as an heir.
Both options are possible – we would be happy to advise you on the differences.
It’s quite simple – for example, like this:
“I bequeath to the Kulturpalast Hamburg Foundation, Öjendorfer Weg 30a, 22119 Hamburg, a sum of 10,000.00 euros to support cultural education work with children and young people.”
Or:
“I appoint the Kulturpalast Hamburg Foundation as my sole beneficiary.”
We’d be happy to help you with wording suggestions or advice.
